We are a group of female students of knowledge supervising a large school that teaches young children Islamic jurisprudence and the rulings of the religion

The Shaykh : Here is a question: We are a group of female students of knowledge supervising a large school for memorizing the Qur'an and teaching its rulings; what are the most important issues, in your opinion, that must be prioritized and taught to women, given that they are at different levels and have different occupations?
There is no doubt that regarding the teaching of women, it is the rulings that pertain to them in their capacity as women. They are to be taught the rulings concerning menstruation, post-natal bleeding, the ritual bath for menstruation, and the ritual bath for post-natal bleeding, as well as the rulings concerning their fasting and prayer that pertain to them specifically, unlike men. This is from one aspect. They are also to be taught how they must treat their husbands in terms of their obedience and service, in a manner commensurate with their ability, and they should not disdain performing what Allah has made obligatory upon them of the required obedience, as stated in the authentic hadith:
If a woman prays her five daily prayers, guards her chastity, and obeys her husband, she will enter the Paradise of her Lord from whichever gate of Paradise she wishes إن المرأة إذا صلَّت خمسها ، وأحصنت فرجها ، وأطاعت زوجها ؛ دخلت جنَّة ربِّها من أيِّ أبواب الجنة شاءت
; this is a summary of what women should be taught regarding what pertains to them, without involving anything else.
In summary, the answer is that they should be taught what is obligatory for them to know regarding their specific circumstances, which is individual obligation, and not collective obligation, which is obligatory only for the male scholars of knowledge and not for women. As for expanding their knowledge, that depends on the woman's activity in her home and the circumstances surrounding them, such as the availability of books and the opportunity to read them. In this case, the woman can expand her knowledge through her personal reading. However, if she wastes a portion of her life outside her home, especially if she is married, for the sake of knowledge that is not an individual obligation but rather a collective obligation, then attending to serving her husband and serving her children, if she is blessed with any children, is more prescribed and better for her.
