If one reaches the evening of the Day of Sacrifice without having performed the Tawaf of Ifadah; does he return to the state of Ihram as he was?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Al-Hawini: The question is: If a person does not perform Tawaf around the Sacred House on the Day of Sacrifice, does he return to the state of Ihram as before? Or what does he do? Please mention the evidence.

The Shaykh : It is necessary to return, as stated in the hadith we mentioned in the booklet "The Rituals of Hajj and Umrah." The hadith is strong in the aggregate of its chains that whoever reaches the evening without having performed the Tawaf of Ifadah returns to the state of Ihram as he was before. This is necessary. Therefore, the person in Ihram is in one of two situations: either he hastens to perform the Tawaf of Ifadah so that he may enjoy the state of Ihram (hal) that he enjoyed after stoning the Jamarah al-Aqabah, or if he intended not to perform Tawaf until the second or third day, then in that case he does not enjoy the state of Ihram (hal) that he enjoyed by stoning and intending to perform Tawaf before the evening. This is a matter that is necessary, even though most people are unaware of it, and many of those who know the text are far from it, because people are slaves to what they are accustomed to, may Allah protect us!

Another questioner : Does he become in a state of Ihram, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : This is cold.

Another questioner : Does he become in a state of Ihram, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : I said: He remains in his state of Ihram until he performs Tawaf.
Yes.
