Advice regarding gold earrings for women.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh: Just as the first part of the hadith:
This is forbidden for the males of my Ummah. حرامٌ على ذكور أمَّتي
Sunan an-Nasa'i 5147Sahih (Darussalam)
is a rule for males, so gold and silk are forbidden for males; this is a principle, and they are lawful for women; this is a principle, but every rule has exceptions; for example, a man is permitted to have a gold tooth, while it is forbidden for a woman to drink from a gold cup; even though gold is permissible for her, there are exceptions, and among these exceptions concerning women are gold earrings; if the hadith had said, "If it harms any of you, you must not use gold earrings," it would have been forbidden, but there is a difference between the emphasis and the statement that it is better for you to wear gold earrings here.
And peace be upon you. Oh Allah.
