Q: Is gold forbidden for women or not? Knowing that I have heard hadiths from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) approximately regarding the prohibition of gold for women. Please issue a ruling for us.
A: Gold is not forbidden for women; based on what was narrated by Abu Musa al-Ash'ari
(may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Mishkat al-Masabih 4341 It was narrated by Ahmad , al-Nasa'i , and al-Tirmidhi , who graded it as authentic. It was also narrated by Abu Dawud and al-Hakim , who graded it as authentic. It was also narrated by al-Tabarani , and Ibn Hazm also graded it as authentic. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
