Detailing the meaning of wisdom in His saying (Glorified and Exalted is He): “And He teaches them the Book and wisdom.”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Wisdom is used to mean the Sunnah,
and teach them the Book and wisdom وَيُعَلِّمُهُم الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ
[Al-Baqarah 2:129]
. The Book is the Qur'an and wisdom is the Sunnah. It is also used to mean a good manner of speech, which is the intended meaning in the verse you mentioned:
Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction ادْعُ إِلَى سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ
[An-Nahl 16:125]
. So when a Muslim admonishes people, he admonishes them with the Book and the Sunnah; it is the good admonition. But he does not be harsh with them or severe toward them; rather, he uses compassion, gentleness, and softness. This is a well-known matter and not a place for doubt or even for a question to be directed to it. In fact, I did not understand... Wisdom is used to mean the Sunnah, as we mentioned in the previous verse, and it is used to mean a good manner of speech. So, on this basis, it constitutes the methodology of da'wah; that is, correct knowledge from the Book and the Sunnah and a good manner of speech.
