What is your opinion on the issue of dealing with the jinn?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original

Here is a question asking what your opinion is on the issue of dealing with the jinn. What does it mean to deal with the jinn? Allah the Exalted said:
And that there were men from among the humans who sought refuge with men from among the jinn, and they increased them in arrogance.وأنه كان رجال من الانس يعوذون برجال من الجن فزادوهم رهقا
So this verse makes it explicit that
one of the causes of the jinn fleeing and falling into misguidance was their seeking help from humans. One of the causes of human misguidance is
their seeking help from the jinn. It is well known from the pre-Islamic age of ignorance that a tribe would settle in a valley and its chief would call out to the chief of the jinn
in that valley, saying, "We seek refuge in you that we may not be afflicted with harm or injury in this place." This calling for aid from
the unseen jinn is shirk (associating partners with Allah) in Islam, which is not permissible for a Muslim to return to, no matter how he excuses
himself by claiming he is compelled to know about it, for his state will be like the Arabic proverb that says, "Like the one who builds
a palace and demolishes a city." The scholar here says, "Like seeking help to discover the text," meaning he discovered the text, what
did he benefit? Meanwhile, he was harmed in his belief by seeking help from a hidden creation, for our Lord, Mighty and Majestic, did not permit seeking help from them.
Therefore, the scholars of tawhid (the oneness of Allah) say it is not permissible for a Muslim to seek help from the angels, who do not disobey Allah in what He commands them
and do what they are commanded, let alone seek help from the jinn, among whom are the righteous and the wicked, and among us are the unjust
and among us are others; we were divided into sects. So it is not permissible to seek help or call for aid except to Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, or
through the means that Allah has prescribed. Seeking help from a jinn for anything is not among the means prescribed by Allah.
So it is not permissible, then.

The questioner:
When it is said that he was possessed by the jinn, is this thing correct?

The Shaykh:
Correct. Is the military effort considered part of zakah (the obligatory alms)?

The questioner:
Do the jinn eat from the food of humans, or is it different?

The Shaykh:
It is different. And what does that concern you?

The questioner:
...... In the hadith of the bone, it is the food of your brothers from the jinn.

The Shaykh:
There is no contradiction. The animal that mixes with humans and is used by this human, whose food shares something
with humans and is separate from them, for example, it eats grass, and it eats wheat and barley. Humans do not eat
grass, but they eat wheat and barley. Is there a problem with this? And there is no problem; it may eat, meaning, but
since it has been established in another hadith that the discarded bone, which has no value for us, becomes for them as if it were
stuffed with meat.
