The Ruling on Dealing with the Jinn to Treat People

Question:
Finally, from the questions of our sister, we present this question. She says: I heard a report that there is a woman who deals with the jinn, and the jinn told her that she would be a medium of good between the jinn and humans to treat the incurable diseases in humans, which human medicine has failed to cure. The woman is the intermediary, and the jinn provide the medicines and perform surgeries for the children of Adam, but humans do not see them. What is your opinion, Your Eminence, in such a case?
Answer:
There is no basis for this, and it is not to be relied upon. Indeed, the reports of the jinn, the reports of old women, and the reports of those who serve the jinn are not to be trusted, nor are they to be relied upon. It is not permissible to rely on the words of an old woman, an old man, a young man, or anyone else who conveys things from the jinn. Rather, one must beware of them and not employ them in anything; for if one employs them, they may lead him to shirk (associating partners with Allah) , if they are not believers. And the believer among them is not known with certain knowledge; he may be a hypocrite, or he may be poisoning the fat (sneaking in harm); for you do not know them, nor do you mix with them openly, nor do you know their conditions and the conditions of their associates among the righteous, until you know the trustworthy from the untrustworthy.
So the result is: that there is great ignorance between us and them, and differing morals and differing characteristics, with which we are unable to verify what they are upon. As for those among them whom we know by what they display of faith, we pray for their success and we pray for their rectitude, but we do not trust them, nor do we feel secure in taking medicine from them, or anything else, or consulting them about something, or the like of that. For this may lead to claiming knowledge of the unseen; a person may be tested with this and think that he has some knowledge of the unseen through the jinn, and he may call to that, becoming one of those about whom Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) said: [Surah al-Jinn:6].
So he is in danger with the jinn; they may use him in shirk, they may use him in bid'ah (religious innovation), they may use him in sins, so he harms himself and he does not know, and he harms others and he does not know.
Therefore, it is not permissible to deal with them in medicine or in anything else. Rather, if one knows any of them or if someone connects with them, he should call him to Allah, teach him what is good, call him to the tawhid (oneness of Allah) of Allah, and to the obedience of Allah, and advise him to know from what is with him the good of obedience to Allah . He should not feel secure in him in anything, nor ask him for anything for the people; for he may convey something that harms the people, or he may give him something good and then deceive him afterward.
The conclusion is: that it is dangerous; for you do not know their conditions with certainty, and they see you but you do not see them. They may hide many things from you, and they may claim faith while they are hypocrites, and they may connect with you for other purposes, until they take them from you, and then do with you what they wish. So you are in danger. The obligatory thing is to beware of them, except for calling to Allah , making them see the truth, calling them to it, and guiding them to it. Yes.
