How do we refute the argument of those who say: We do not accept ahad reports in matters of creed?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : How do we refute the argument of those who say they do not accept ahad reports in matters of creed?

The Shaykh : These people, my brother, are ignorant. They do not know the life of the Messenger (peace be upon him) and his relationship with the nations. When the Messenger (peace be upon him) would send one of his Companions, such as Mu'adh ibn Jabal, Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, Ali ibn Abi Talib, Dhiyyah al-Kalbi, and others, these envoys were individuals. They would go and call the Arabs and the Christians who had strayed from the religion, calling them individually to the religion. Do they call them to wudu, ritual purity, and ritual impurity, or do they begin with tawhid (the oneness of Allah)?

The questioner: Tawhid.

The Shaykh : Tawhid (the oneness of Allah). Tawhid (the oneness of Allah) is the foundation of all creeds. Thus, the argument is established by a single individual.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : The important thing is that this single individual must, first, be a Muslim; second, be trustworthy and just; and third, and finally, be knowledgeable of the Book and the Sunnah.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : This is how the Companions of the Messenger (peace be upon him) were. Those whom the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent as callers to those peoples to enter the religion of Allah in groups did not send people as the Tabligh group does, where ten, twenty, or thirty go out, each one more ignorant than the other. Where are they going? They say: They call people. "He who lacks a thing cannot give it"!! It is obligatory for these people and their like to learn Islam, and then to convey it to others; whether they are misguided Muslims or disbelieving people.
And peace be upon you.

The questioner: And upon you peace.
...

Another questioner : I love you for the sake of Allah.

The Shaykh : May Allah love you for the sake of which you loved me, and may Allah reward you with good. Please, my brothers.

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : ... what I heard just now of speech.

The questioner : ... are these innovators?

The Shaykh : No, no, they are not innovators. They do not know the Sunnah.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
