Mentioning the attribute of being above, and that it is among the attributes established for Allah (Mighty and Majestic) by reason, let alone by transmission.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And among the attributes of perfection, some are known by reason and sound innate disposition alone, and this is few, such as Allah (Mighty and Majestic) being above all creation. This is known simply by the knowledge that it befits Allah (Mighty and Majestic) to possess all attributes of perfection; so that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is above the creations and not the reverse is something known by the immediate intuition of reason.
And despite this, many texts in the Book and the Sunnah have come, stating explicitly, with no explicitness greater than this, that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is above all creation, and some of these texts clarify that He is above the Throne in particular. So the verse:
The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established. الرَّحْمَنُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ اسْتَوَى
[Taha 20:5]
which has been repeated in many noble verses is too well-known to be mentioned.
So the Throne is a creation of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), indeed it is the greatest of Allah’s (Blessed and Exalted is He) creations. So the explicit statement of the Lord of the worlds that He is above the great Throne is among the beliefs that a Muslim must adopt, and it is not permissible for him to deviate from its apparent meaning to the invented, religiously innovated meanings, to which many of the scholars of kalam, known for their deviation from what the righteous Salaf were upon regarding faith in all the verses of attributes and all the hadiths of attributes, without any distortion or figurative interpretation, go.
