Discussion of the attributes of Allah (Mighty and Majestic).

The Shaykh : Until the Day of Judgment.
As for what follows:
We listened to the recitation of many verses from the Book of Allah the Exalted, in which our imam led us in the night prayer of Ramadan this night, the eighth night of the month of Ramadan in the year 1418, covering various topics of knowledge. And we are speaking, by the permission of Allah and His success, about what pertains to the creed and what pertains to society; these are two very important matters.
As for what pertains to the creed: We begin first with the attributes of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), the attributes of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) by which He described Himself—excuse me, excuse me—the attributes of Allah the Exalted by which He described Himself. It is obligatory, in accordance with their truth, that they not be distorted or altered from their apparent meaning, because Allah the Exalted addressed us with the Qur'an, and He is more knowledgeable about Himself than we are, and more knowledgeable about others than others are. He is more knowledgeable than we are about what is in our souls; we do not know the future of our lives, but Allah (Mighty and Majestic) knows our future. And when Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) informs us about Himself regarding something, our duty, as we are the servants of Allah, is to say, "We have heard and we have obeyed," in accordance with the intent of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He). It is not permissible for us to divert anything by which Allah described Himself from its apparent meaning except by evidence from Allah alone or from His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).
