Eid Abbasi : ... regarding the issue of proportion, the saying of the Messenger (peace be upon him) to the one who came and informed him that his brother's stomach had become distended, so he said to him (peace be upon him): , so he gave him honey to drink and returned, saying, "O Messenger of Allah, his distension has increased!" He said: . He came the third time, saying, "He said the second time: Sahih al-Bukhari 5716," so he gave him honey to drink the third time and he was healed; this is also a corroborating narration for the statement of our teacher (may Allah preserve him) that the issue relates to proportion, for in the third instance it happened that the proportion came out favorable, so he was healed by the permission of Allah.
