The Lawfulness of the Sacrifice for a Newborn on Behalf of an Adult

A man has a group of sons and daughters, and he did not perform the sacrifice for any of them, and some of them are now adults, either due to ignorance or negligence in this matter. What is required of him now?
If he performs the sacrifice for them now, that is good.As for if he was ignorant, or if he says: Tomorrow, he should perform the sacrifice; tomorrow, he should perform the sacrifice, until the time has passed. However, if he was poor at the time when the sacrifice was prescribed, he owes nothing.
