The ruling on one who has intercourse with his wife before the tawaf of departure
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
His Eminence the Shaykh: A man had intercourse before the tawaf of departure, and he has already stoned the pillars and shaved his head. What is required of him?
He owes nothing except that he must slaughter a fidyah (ransom payment) to give in charity to the poor, or fast for three days, or feed six poor people, giving each poor person half a sa' (a dry measure of about 3 kg). He must also enter the state of ihram (the consecrated state of pilgrimage) again from the non-sacred area so that he can perform tawaf (circumambulation of the Ka'bah) while in the state of ihram.
