The Methodology of the People of the Sunnah and the Community Regarding the Vision of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) of His Lord (Mighty and Majestic)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
What is the methodology of the People of the Sunnah and the Community regarding the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) vision of his Lord, as in the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Will you dispute with him about what he sees?أَفَتُمَارُونَهُ عَلَى مَا يَرَى
[Al-Najm: 12] ?
The correct view is that he did not see his Lord, and that no one is able to see Allah while awake in this world. Allah the Exalted said regarding Musa (peace be upon him):
he said, "My Lord, show me [Yourself] that I may look at You." [Allah] said, "You will not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it should remain in place, then you will see Me." But when his Lord appeared to the mountain, He rendered it level, and Moses fell unconsciousقَالَ رَبِّ أَرِنِي أَنْظُرْ إِلَيْكَ قَالَ لَنْ تَرَانِي وَلَكِنِ انْظُرْ إِلَى الْجَبَلِ فَإِنِ اسْتَقَرَّ مَكَانَهُ فَسَوْفَ تَرَانِي فَلَمَّا تَجَلَّى رَبُّهُ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَهُ دَكّاً وَخَرَّ مُوسَى صَعِقاً
[Al-A'raf: 143] . If the mountain did not remain firm at the vision of the Lord (Mighty and Majestic), how could a human being? This is the correct view, and that the Messenger saw his Lord with his heart, and what is narrated from Ibn Abbas must be understood in this sense,And as for His saying (the Exalted):
Will you dispute with him about what he sees?أَفَتُمَارُونَهُ عَلَى مَا يَرَى
[Al-Najm: 12] so what he saw was of the great signs,From the signs of Allah:
He certainly saw of the greatest signs of his Lord.لَقَدْ رَأَى مِنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِ الْكُبْرَى
[Al-Najm: 18] ,And the meaning is not: that he saw his Lord (Mighty and Majestic).
