The best deeds offered for the deceased

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Your Eminence! What are the best deeds offered for the deceased? And what is the meaning of the saying of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (praying for them)?

The best deeds offered for the deceased: Supplication;By the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): (When a person dies, his deeds are cut off except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that benefits people, or a righteous child who prays for him) So supplication for the deceased is better than everything, better than praying, giving charity, performing Hajj, or performing 'Umrah on behalf of the deceased;Because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned this: (a righteous child who prays for him) in the context of deeds,So if deeds were prescribed for the deceased, he would have said: or a righteous child who gives charity for him, or fasts for him, or something similar to this. So when he turned away from that to supplication, it is known that supplication is better than offering deeds. And as for His saying: (praying for them) means: supplication; because prayer comes to mean supplication,Like His saying, the Exalted:
Take, [O, Muhammad], from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase, and invoke [Allah 's blessings] upon them. Indeed, your invocations are reassurance for them. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
[al-Tawbah: 103] meaning: pray for them.
