The ruling on dealing with a man who has errors in creed and other matters

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The honorable Shaykh (may Allah preserve him): If there is a man who has some points of criticism, whether in creed or otherwise, and he has much good in him, what is the guideline for dealing with him and benefiting from him if he is a man of the pen, or holds a distinguished position, or has capabilities that others do not have?
If this man is openly manifesting the religious innovation he holds, then it is not befitting for a person to deal with him or visit him; because even if he is not influenced by him, others may be deceived by him.Meaning: People are deceived and think that this innovator is on the right path. Therefore, what is befitting is that a person should not visit the people of innovation, no matter how much he benefits from them financially or scientifically; because of the deception of others that is in that.
