The ruling on drums at weddings, attending them, dancing to them, and paying for them

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
What is the ruling on women going to weddings where there is drumming with the hand drum and the drum, especially if it is complained that there is drumming before going to the wedding? And what is the ruling on the groom paying money to the owner of the drum?
As for the wedding that has only the hand drum, there is nothing wrong with attending it, provided that the songs are permissible. As for if there are drums, it is not permissible to attend. The difference between the drum and the hand drum is that the drum is covered on both sides, while the hand drum is covered on one side. However, if a woman goes to this wedding and then is surprised by the drums, she should forbid them from this and advise them. If they comply, that is what is required. Otherwise, it is obligatory for her to leave.

The questioner: And paying money to the woman who plays the drum? The Shaykh: As for giving money (to the drummers)there is nothing wrong with it; because it is for a permissible act, and as for giving it (to the tambourine players)it is not permissible; because it is for a forbidden act,And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (Indeed, when Allah forbids something, He forbids its price).

The questioner: And what is the ruling on a woman dancing to these hand drums?Answer: Dancing is disliked, especially if there is a fear of trial from it; and sometimes the dancer is a young, beautiful woman, and her dancing arouses desire in the women.
