What is the ruling on men dancing with weapons on drums at weddings?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
First of all, O Shaykh, we testify to Allah regarding your love for the sake of Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He.

The Shaykh : May Allah love you for the sake of which you loved us. May Allah reward you with good.

The questioner : Second, in our regions, there in the south, at weddings, men dance on drums with their weapons, meaning dancing with weapons. Is this permissible?

The Shaykh : First: May Allah bless you. Know that the original ruling regarding musical instruments is that they are forbidden, and this includes drums. Nothing of them is lawful except what the Shari'ah has specified, and what the Shari'ah has specified is the hand drum. In the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), it was not used except by women, who would strike the hand drum.
The hand drum is a round object like a plate, with one side covered by skin that produces the sound, meaning it is open on one side and sealed on the other. This is what the Sunnah mentions. As for men dancing, it is not permissible, because dancing is a custom of women and not a custom of men.
As for playing with weapons, such as rifles and swords and the like, there is nothing wrong with it if there are no drums, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) allowed the Abyssinians to play in the middle of his mosque (peace and blessings be upon him) with their spears, but without dancing.
