The ruling on naming girls with names from the Qur'an

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Your Eminence! There has been a lot of questioning about some people naming their daughters with names from the Qur'an, such as (Bayan), and some name them (Iman). Is this correct or not? And should the name be changed if naming with these names is not valid?
Yes.
The original ruling on naming is permissibility, except for what evidence indicates is disliked in itself or by analogy. For example, the name (Bara), the name (Abbar), and the name (Iman); all of this is prohibited.Meaning: It should be changed; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) changed the name Bara to Zaynab and to Jawayriyah. As for what does not resemble that, there is no harm in it. For example, (Afnan) has no harm, (Aghsan) has no harm, (Jana) has no harm. As for (Bayan), I do not see that it should be named with it, and likewise (Iman), because it contains something of self-praise, and (Abbar) is likewise.
