And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ

[al-Qadr:2] This is a sentence in this form from which magnification and exaltation are derived, and it is a recurring pattern in the Noble Qur'an. Allah the Exalted said:

⁽¹⁷⁾ And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? ⁽¹⁸⁾ Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ * ثُمَّ مَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ

[al-Infitar:17-18],And Allah the Exalted said:

الْحَاقَّةُ * مَا الْحَاقَّةُ

[al-Haqqah:1-2],And Allah the Exalted said:

الْقَارِعَةُ * مَا الْقَارِعَةُ * وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ
