The Reward of One Who Prays Twelve Rak'ahs

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Your Eminence, the Shaykh! He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (Whoever prays twelve rak'ahs, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise) The hadith is authentic. Is this on a permanent basis, or does one pray one day and leave it off the next? And if one misses some of them, does he make them up? May Allah reward you.
The apparent meaning of the hadith is that if he prays it, even once, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise, and on the second day another house, and so on, and the bounty of Allah is vast. But it is obligatory for a person not to let the aspect of hope dominate in these matters, that is: in those for which a reward is attached. Rather, he should look at the reward in these deeds, and at the punishment in other deeds. Perhaps his sins will encompass him, even if he performed this good deed.So the weighing on the Day of Resurrection is inevitable:
And We place the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrectionوَنَضَعُ الْمَوَازِينَ الْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ
[Al-Anbiya: 47] A person should not say: "Then many houses will be built for me in Paradise."We say: Yes, and the bounty of Allah is vast, and Paradise is as wide as the heavens and the earth. But strive to avoid what Allah has forbidden, so that there is not a weighing on the Day of Resurrection where the sins outweigh the good deeds. For the weighing on the Day of Resurrection, if the good deeds outweigh, he is among the people of Paradise. If the sins outweigh, he is among the people of the Fire, where he will be punished as long as Allah wills, then he will be saved, unless Allah forgives him. And whoever’s good deeds and sins are equal is among the people of the 'Arafah, who are stationed on a high place overlooking the Fire and Paradise, but in the end, they enter Paradise.
If he misses them, he makes them up. The rawatib are made up just as the obligatory prayers are made up.
