What is the meaning of the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever prays twelve rak'ahs in a day, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The honorable Shaykh, may Allah reward you: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever prays twelve rak'ahs, Allah (SWT) will build for him a house in paradise من صلى اثنتي عشرة ركعة بنى الله له بيتًا في الجنة
Sunan an-Nasa'i 1802Da'if (Darussalam)
The hadith is authentic. Is this to be done continuously, or does one pray one day and leave it off another? And if one misses some of them, does one make them up? May Allah reward you?

The Shaykh : The apparent meaning of the hadith is that if one prays, even for just one day, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise, and on the second day another house, and so on. The grace of Allah is vast. However, a person must not let the aspect of hope dominate in these matters, that is, in those for which a reward is attached. Rather, he should look at the reward in these deeds and the punishment in other deeds, for perhaps his sins will encompass him, even if he performs these good deeds. The weighing on the Day of Resurrection is necessary.
And We place the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection ونضع الموازين القسط ليوم القيامة
[Al-Anbya 21:47]
One should not say, "Therefore, many houses will be built for me in Paradise." We say, yes, the grace of Allah is vast, and Paradise is as wide as the heavens and the earth. But strive to avoid what Allah has forbidden, so that there is no weighing on the Day of Resurrection where the sins outweigh the good deeds. For the weighing on the Day of Resurrection, if the good deeds outweigh, he is among the people of Paradise. If the sins outweigh, he is among the people of the Fire, where he will be punished as long as Allah wills, then he will be saved, unless Allah forgives him. And whoever’s good deeds and sins are equal is among the people of al-A'raf, who are stationed on a high place overlooking the Fire and Paradise, but in the end, they enter Paradise.

The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah reward you and bless your knowledge. If one claims...

The Shaykh : And what do you say about the second point, that if one misses them, does he make them up? The answer is yes. The rawatib are made up just as the obligatory prayers are made up.
