Indeed, among people are those who become arrogant when they see that they have become self-sufficient without Allah. How often has wealth corrupted the children of Adam! So he is ungrateful for the favor of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), denying the favor of Allah and not performing gratitude for it, and not performing obedience to Allah; because he is ungrateful for the favor of Allah.
