The ruling on praying in clothing that has images on it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner: What is the ruling on praying in clothing that has images of some living beings on it?
The Shaykh: It is not permissible to wear clothing that has images of living beings on it, absolutely; and that is because using images is forbidden.
As for the validity of the prayer, the correct view is that the prayer is valid; and that is because forbidden clothing does not invalidate the prayer. So, praying in a stolen garment is valid, and a man praying in a silk garment is valid, and praying in a garment that has images on it is valid for both men and women. However, he is sinful for wearing these clothes that have images on them. There is no difference between the adult man and the boy; every one of them must avoid wearing these garments that have images on them.
