The validity of the prayer of more than one person behind an incomplete row

His saying (peace and blessings be upon him): (There is no prayer for a person praying alone behind a row). If more than one man came and caught up with the imam while he was bowing, and they stood in the second row while there were gaps on the right and left, do we say that their prayer is invalid or that they must repeat it?
If two people stand behind a row that has not been completed, whether they fear missing the rak'ah or not, their prayer is valid; but they have left the preferred action, which is to complete the first row, then the first row.

The questioner: This is according to the opinion of those who say that the prayer of a person praying alone is valid.

The Shaykh: Yes.
According to his opinion; because he is not praying alone, for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man praying alone behind the row.
As for the stronger opinion, if you find the row complete, there is no blame on you for standing alone.
