One who prays behind the row has no prayer
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: I entered the mosque to perform the prayer and found that the row was full, and I was unable to stand in a row next to the imam, so I prayed one unit of prayer behind the row alone. In the second unit, someone from the row next to me arrived, and after the imam concluded the prayer, I stood up and performed this unit. Is this valid?
A: One who prays behind the row has no prayer, due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Bulugh al-Maram 2:327 So if you prayed alone behind the row for one unit or more, the prayer is not valid and you must repeat it. It is established from him (peace and blessings be upon him) that he saw a man praying alone behind the row, so he ordered him to repeat the prayer and said: Bulugh al-Maram 2:327 So you must be patient until someone comes to stand in a row with you, or you seek a gap in the row to enter it, or stand with the imam to his right. As for praying alone behind the row, that is not permissible. And success is from Allah.

The prayer of a person who prays alone behind the row is not accepted.
