The reward of one who went to pray in congregation and found it had already ended.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And if we miss it—and this is a very important point, I hope the brothers pay attention to it—if we miss the first congregation while we are eager to perform the congregational prayer, its virtue will not be missed by us. This is the conclusion of a short word. This is based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Whoever performs ablution in his home and perfects his ablution, then goes to the mosque of the congregation and finds that they have already prayed, Allah records for him the same reward as their prayer, without diminishing anything from their rewards. مَن توضَّأ في بيته وأحسن وضوءه ، ثم أتى مسجد الجماعة فوجدهم قد صلوا ؛ كتب الله له مثل أجر صلاتهم ؛ دون أن ينقص من أجورهم شيئًا
; so this eagerness to perform the first congregation is recorded for him with its rewards, even if he missed it, because he was eager to perform it with the first congregation.
And please, now.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
