When should I pray the night prayer if I did not stand for it until after the call to Fajr?
If a person misses the night prayer due to illness or overwhelming sleep, he should pray it during the day. However, if it is his custom to pray witr with three rak'ahs, he should make it four, and if it is his custom to pray witr with five, he should make it six. This is because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when sleep or pain overtook him at night, would pray twelve rak'ahs during the day.
