The ruling on one who prays Fajr alone in the mosque because there are no other worshippers, while a distant mosque exists where the congregation is held
Dear Shaykh! A group of people in the neighborhood pooled their resources to build a small mosque because the large mosque is far from them. They pray all the prayers in this mosque except for Fajr; only one man prays Fajr in this mosque. It is known that he is the one who calls the adhan and prays. Should he continue in this situation and pray Fajr alone, or should he go to the distant mosque by car?
First, he should advise the people of the neighborhood to come for the Fajr prayer and encourage them to do so. Perhaps Allah will make it easy for him to find someone to join him in the congregational prayer. However, if no one comes and he is certain of that, it is better for him to go to the second mosque.
