The ruling on praying in a mosque where the congregation is not established

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner: A group of men sit in one of the farms, and the times for the Maghrib and 'Isha' prayers arrive while they are there. There is a mosque nearby, approximately four hundred meters away, and they can hear the call to prayer. This mosque is close by, but it does not have a permanent imam. Should they go to this mosque to pray, or not?The Shaykh: There is no doubt that their praying in the mosque is more preferable. First, for the sake of establishing the congregation. As long as the mosque is close, the congregation may be established there, or it may not be. Therefore, their going there to establish the congregation and calling the adhan for the five daily prayers is undoubtedly more preferable. However, it is not obligatory; because this mosque was not an established mosque in which the five daily prayers are performed.
