The Ruling on Fasting for the Nursing Mother and the Woman with Post-Natal Bleeding After Purity

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
A woman had post-natal bleeding in the month of Sha'ban and became pure on the tenth of Ramadan. Is she permitted to begin fasting, given that she is able to do so, and that some doctors have stated that the child can go six hours without nursing? She is capable of fasting.
If she is nursing and her milk does not decrease, it is obligatory for her to fast. Whenever a woman becomes pure from menstruation or post-natal bleeding, it is obligatory for her to fast, except that if she becomes pure during the day, she is not required to abstain from food and drink.
-The questioner: She became pure on the tenth of Ramadan? The Shaykh: It is obligatory for her to fast the remaining twenty days, provided that there is no harm to the child. However, if she becomes pure during the day, she is not required to abstain for the rest of the day; she remains in a state of not fasting. Even a menstruating woman, for example, if she becomes pure in the middle of the day, remains in a state of not fasting, eating and drinking. This day will have to be made up in any case.
