The ruling on one who offends the mosque with his odor

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
There is a group in the mosque who want to expel workers who pray with them, on the grounds that their sweat has a foul odor and that they dirty the mosque. The one urging them to do this is a student of knowledge there, who issued them a ruling to expel them, citing the fact that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) expelled the one who ate garlic and onions. What is your opinion, O Shaykh?
If the odor is offensive and unbearable, they are prevented from entering the mosque, and they are ordered to remove this odor as much as possible and to attend the mosque. And this does not mean: We prevent them from entering the mosque and say: Pray wherever you wish! Because if we said this to them, we would open the doors to laziness for them. But we say: We prevent you, and at the same time you clean yourselves and attend, and by this the desired outcome is achieved and the disliked matter is removed.

As for if they cannot come except in this state, it is said to them: Pray in congregation in your place, and leave the mosques of the people for the people.
