The Time for Beginning the Eclipse Prayer and the Ruling for One Who Missed the Prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Regarding the eclipse prayer, is it prayed when the eclipse begins or when it is complete? And regarding the one who missed the eclipse prayer, does he pray it alone? We ask for clarification.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (If you see it) means: if you see them eclipsed. So, when the eclipse appears, the prayer is prescribed at that point. If it does not appear, as in the case of a partial solar eclipse that is not visible except through a telescope, then it is not prayed; because we did not see it as eclipsed. The criterion is the sight of the eye, not telescopes or calculations. Did you understand? So, from the moment the light of the sun or the moon is broken, the prayer is then performed.
As for the one who missed it, if the eclipse has cleared, he does not pray. If the eclipse remains, he prays just as the imam prays it.
