The Idea of Patching Up Islam in Creed and Methodology

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
What is the ruling on the idea of patching up Islam,And its meaning is: where a person holds a Salafi creed because he studied and graduated from a Salafi methodology at a college of Da'wah, or a college of Shari'ah, or a college of Hadith—for example—because he studied a Salafi curriculum; But when he comes to Da'wah, he says: saying, "This methodology does not benefit us,Rather, we follow another methodology: whether it is the Ikhwan, the Tabligh, or otherwise, it does not harm us because we are Salafi in creed, but in methodology and Da'wah, it is not suitable. Did the pious predecessors distinguish between creed and the methodology of Da'wah? May Allah reward you.
The methodology—may Allah reward you—is built upon the creed. So if one's creed is sound, his methodology will be sound without a doubt.Because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when he mentioned: (The Ummah will split into seventy-three sects, all in the Fire except one. They said: Who are they, O Messenger of Allah? He said: They are those who are upon what I and my Companions are upon),His saying: (upon what I and my Companions are upon) means in creed, methodology, action, and everything. It is not possible for these to differ. For example, the Ikhwan, the Tabligh, the reformists, and others: if their methodology does not contradict the Shari'ah, there is no harm in it. If it contradicts the Shari'ah, it must necessarily stem from a creed, because every action has an intention. If a person adopts a methodology that contradicts the methodology of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Rightly Guided Successors; Its meaning is: then his creed is not sound. Otherwise, if the creed is sound, the methodology is sound.

Then, on this occasion, I would like to say: Among the trials that have befallen the Ummah, especially in the present time, is division and fragmentation. This person follows the methodology of so-and-so, and that person follows the methodology of so-and-so. If only they would leave one another alone! But you find each one declaring the other misguided, and perhaps even declaring him a disbeliever in matters that are not misguidance and not disbelief. This is a calamity that has struck the Islamic awakening, in which we had hoped for good a few years ago. Now, many of the young people are divided. Perhaps this young brother who seeks the truth as he does is hated more than a person hates an open sinner. We ask Allah for safety. All of this is undoubtedly from the inspiration of Satan and his commands. It is obligatory upon us to unite with one another, to sit and discuss. Whoever is upon the truth, we support him, and whoever is upon falsehood, we clarify it to him.But if he says: I do not know anything other than this, and this is my independent legal reasoning. It has a basis in the Arabic language and in the Shari'ah. Therefore, we do not declare him misguided, and praise be to Allah, the matter is broad.
