Advice for one who wishes to follow a methodology in creed

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fifth question of Fatwa No. ( 6902 ):
Q5: I wish to follow a methodology in creed after having learned the matters of my religion, such as prayer and fasting, and praise be to Allah, I have studied [Tawhid] by the Shaykh Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Wahhab and [al-Wasitiyyah] by the Shaykh of Islam Ibn Taymiyyah. So will you guide me to the correct methodology for serious study?
A5: We ask Allah to increase you in insight and knowledge beyond what you already have. We advise you to read the books of the Salafi creed, including those you mentioned in your question, as well as: commentaries on [al-'Aqidah al-Wasitiyyah] and [Sharh al-'Aqidah al-Tahawiyyah], and the commentary on the Book of Tawhid titled [Fath al-Majid] by the Shaykh 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Hasan, and its commentary also titled [Taysir al-'Aziz al-Hamid] by the Shaykh Sulayman ibn 'Abd Allah, and the book [al-Hamawiyyah] and the book [al-Tadmuriyyah] by the Shaykh of Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, and the book [al-Tawhid] by Ibn Khuzaymah.
We also advise you to devote more attention to the Book of Allah, the Great, in recitation and reflection than to anything else; for it is the most truthful book, the most noble book, and the most beneficial book. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
