It is not permissible to divide the Muslims into groups and parties

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The honorable Shaykh, we have several groups in our university, and each group tries to attract the largest number of new students. So, when a person goes to one group, a kind of hostility arises between him and the other groups, to the point that one person might pass by without greeting them, or they might not greet him. So what should a person do to be clear in his religion, so that no hostility arises between him and his Muslim brothers?

First: We say: It is obligatory that this division be removed, and that a believer be a brother to his believing brother, not oppressing him, not lying to him, and not looking down on him.
So it is obligatory for the senior figures in the university, such as the professors, the director, or the class monitors, to try to remove this division above all else. If that happens, that is good and excellent. If it does not happen, then withdraw from all the groups; do not be with these people or with those people.
But if we suppose that there is, for example, a group whose deviation is clear, and a group whose uprightness is clear, then it is known that a person chooses the second over the first.
