Abandoning Oaths of Divorce and the Expiation of Oaths

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
A relative of mine had serious problems with his wife, so when I advised him;Because he is a relative of mine, after I advised him he said to me: Do you know the door?I said: Yes.
I know the door,Meaning: the intention was to kick me out of the house, and we were in his father’s house, not his own. I remained silent as if nothing had happened, but after a while, it became clear to me from a second person that he had said to me: I did not understand his intention and I did not understand anything from his words,So I said to this person while I was in a state of anger: I came to advise him and in the end he responded to me with these words, and I was silent, wanting the reward from Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), so in this anger I swore by divorce and I regret it. I told my children: I will not enter his house, which is his father’s house, unless this problem between him and his wife ends and he returns to his wife. And I regret this action, to the point that he is a relative of mine, and surely one day I will have to enter his house?

First: May Allah reward you! I advise you not to swear by divorce — I said it unintentionally — (whoever swears — as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said — should swear by Allah or remain silent) , and as for solving the problem you are in now, along with repentance, you must pay the expiation for an oath, by feeding ten poor people ten kilograms of rice, one kilogram for each poor person, and we ask Allah to forgive you.
