The questioner : ...

The Shaykh: No.

The questioner: Shaykh, I don't know, but I saw you in a dream. I don't know, I was telling it or not.

The Shaykh: In any case, we are not scholars of dream interpretation.

The questioner: Yes, but I narrated the dream to our brother Abu Hammam, and we were in the mosque... this mosque, I took off my watch and... I performed wudu... Shaykh, I said to myself, I will perform wudu and very soon I will go to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he mentioned you by name to me. So this is what I saw, and I said I would tell our Shaykh, but I don't know.

The Shaykh: This, this may happen while awake, and it is not permissible.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh: Because the reminder is the Prophet reminding someone of a person.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh: This means that the Prophet is alive in the state of life.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh: He hears and sees, and so on.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh: And this has no basis.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh: Rather, his life is a barzakh (the interval between death and resurrection) life.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh: It is not measured by worldly life.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh: Therefore, it is a jumbled dream, and we are not scholars of dream interpretation.

The questioner : Praise be to Allah.

The Shaykh: Yes.
