Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (And of everything We created pairs, so that you may remember)]

Allah the Exalted said:
And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember.وَمِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ
[Surat al-Dhariyat:49]Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, created pairs of everything, male and female, so that the state would be complete and things would be right through the coming together of one with the other. All animals, whether human or otherwise, are created from a pair: a male and a female, as Allah the Exalted said:
O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one anotherيَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ وَأُنْثَى وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوباً وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا
[Surat al-Hujurat:13]except that Adam (peace be upon him) was created by Allah with His hand, without a mother or a father, and his wife, Hawwa, was created from a father without a mother, and 'Isa ibn Maryam was created from a mother without a father. For this reason, humanity is divided into four categories: The first: one created without a mother or a father, and that is Adam.

The second: One created from a father without a mother, and that is Hawwa.

The third: One created from a mother without a father, and that is 'Isa.

The fourth: The rest of humanity were created from a male and a female.

From everything, Allah created pairs: Dryness and moisture, heat and cold, softness and hardness, and other things, by which, when a person reflects, he knows the wisdom of Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He.
((So that you may remember)) means: We have made this clear to you so that you may remember and take a lesson from the verses of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He. Indeed, the more a person knows of the verses of Allah, whether cosmic or legislative, the more he takes a lesson and draws attention to them. For this reason, Allah encouraged looking at the cosmic verses, and He said:
Say, "Observe what is in the heavens and earth." But of no avail will be signs or warners to a people who do not believeقُلِ انْظُرُوا مَاذَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا تُغْنِي الْآياتُ وَالنُّذُرُ عَنْ قَوْمٍ لا يُؤْمِنُونَ
[Surat Yunus: 101] ,And Allah the Exalted said:
Do they not contemplate within themselves? Allah has not created the heavens and the earth and what is between them except in truthأَوَلَمْ يَتَفَكَّرُوا فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ مَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ
[Surat al-Rum: 8] And Allah the Exalted praised those who reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth in His saying:
(190) Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding. (191) Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
[Surat Ali 'Imran: 190-191] Therefore, a person should take a lesson, remember, and reflect on the verses of Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, both cosmic and legislative.
