Intercourse and its preliminaries

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Among the prohibitions: Intercourse;because of the saying of Allah the Exalted:
so whoever has made Hajj obligatory upon himself therein [by entering the state of ihram], there is [to be for him] no sexual relations and no disobedience and no disputing during Hajjفَمَنْ فَرَضَ فِيهِنَّ الْحَجَّ فَلا رَفَثَ وَلا فُسُوقَ وَلا جِدَالَ فِي الْحَجِّ
[al-Baqarah:197] (Rafath) Intercourse, and the preliminaries of intercourse such as physical contact, kissing, embracing, and repeated looking with desire, all of this is forbidden in the state of ihram,Rather, more severe than this: that contracting a marriage is forbidden; it is forbidden for one in ihram to contract a marriage,If he contracts it, the marriage is invalid, meaning: it is not valid,As the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his family said: (The one in ihram does not contract a marriage, nor is he given in marriage) Rather, if a person is in ihram and contracts the marriage of his daughter, who is not in ihram, to a man who is not in ihram, the two spouses are not in ihram, but the guardian is in ihram, so the marriage is not valid.

Therefore: It is forbidden for one in ihram to contract a marriage for himself or for another, whether by guardianship or by agency.

Likewise, proposing marriage while in ihram is forbidden, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (and he does not propose marriage) Why? Because if he proposes marriage, his heart becomes attached to the woman he is courting, which distracts him from perfecting his Hajj and 'Umrah,And Allah the Exalted said:
So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانْصَبْ
[al-Sharh:7] .

How many prohibitions: Shaving the head, intercourse, contracting a marriage, proposing marriage, physical contact, kissing, embracing, all of this is forbidden in the state of ihram.
