Is there any Companion who might be an open sinner?

Is there any Companion who might be an open sinner?

It came in the saying of Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He):
O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful.
[Al-Hujurat: 6] Some exegetes mentioned that it was revealed regarding al-Walid ibn 'Uqbah.
And does this mean that if a Companion is accused of open sinfulness, that this is a valid reason for the revelation, or what?

Issue: That it is the reason for the revelation is one thing,And the issue: whether there is an open sinner among the Companions? Yes, there may be an open sinner among them, but he is like a white hair on the skin of a black bull, very few, and the original state of the Companions is integrity. Otherwise, there were among them those who committed unlawful sexual intercourse, those who stole, and those who drank intoxicants, but this is rare.So it is not permissible to make this a rule: That the Companions are not trustworthy, as the Rafidah did. The Rafidah do not consider the Companions trustworthy except for a small number from the family of the Prophet and those others they designated.

And the correct view is: That the original state of the Companions is integrity, and that the sins committed by some of them are submerged in the ocean of virtues with which they were characterized.
And with this, this session ends, and until the next meeting, if Allah wills.
And all praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
