Permissibility of entering Mada'in Saleh for one who enters it weeping

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
ً
Is it permissible to visit Mada'in Saleh for the sake of admonition?

It is permissible on the condition: A person should not enter it unless he is weeping.

Because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (Do not enter these abodes of the punished ones except while weeping) As for going there to see the extent of the people's strength in the past, that is not permissible, and the difference is clear, because the one who goes there in order to see the strength of these people, his going there is a leisure trip and a luxury, and it is as if the punishment that befell them did not happen. As for the one who goes there weeping and fearing, there is no blame on him.
And for this reason, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) passed by these dwellings on his journey to Tabuk, he lowered his head and hastened in his walking.
