Adherence to Acting on Knowledge and Its Fruits

Likewise, it is obligatory for the student of knowledge to act upon what he has learned; for this is the fruit of knowledge. What fruit is there in knowledge if you know but do not act? Nothing. In fact, the one who knows but does not act is more harmful to the community than an ignorant man; for he will be a role model,And what people take most is: and people will follow and imitate the actions of the scholar. If this scholar spreads the Shari'ah among Allah's servants and calls them to it, but does not act upon it himself, people will not trust his knowledge or his call. Moreover, he will be among the first to be tormented by the Fire on the Day of Resurrection. We ask Allah for safety.
