Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (So he turned to his family)

Allah the Exalted said:
So he turned to his familyفَرَاغَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ
[al-Dhariyat:26] (Raagh) slipped away quietly and swiftly, and that was due to his good hospitality,He did not say: He did not say, "Wait, I will bring you food," nor did he stand hesitating as if being pushed away; rather, he rose quickly, slipping away so that they would not rise when they saw him going to his family. Thus, he concealed the matter from them. (To his family) means: the people of his household.
and came with a fat [roasted] calfفَجَاءَ بِعِجْلٍ سَمِينٍ
[Surat al-Dhariyat: 26] And in another verse:
With a roasted calfبِعِجْلٍ حَنِيذٍ
[Surat Hud: 69] meaning: roasted.
When meat is roasted, it becomes more filling and more delicious; because its flavor remains in it, not mixing with water, unlike when it is boiled. When boiled, its flavor mixes with the water, and its deliciousness decreases. But when it is roasted, it becomes better and more pleasant.
A fat calfبِعِجْلٍ سَمِينٍ
[Surat al-Dhariyat: 26] meaning: that he, peace and blessings be upon him, does not select for his guests lean, emaciated animals, but rather selects for them fat animals; because they are more delicious, more tender, and more beneficial. And the selection of the calf: Either it was his custom, peace and blessings be upon him, to honor people with this, or he honors guests according to what the situation requires. So if they were many, he brought a calf, and if they were fewer, he brought sheep, and the like of that, according to the custom of the generous.
