The recommended ghusl does not suffice for the obligatory wudu'

Do the recommended ghusls, if they are not performed in the manner of the ghusl for janabah, suffice for wudu'?
May Allah reward you! The recommended ghusls are, by their name, recommended, and wudu' is obligatory. The recommended does not suffice for the obligatory. Therefore, the recommended ghusls do not suffice for wudu'. Rather, one must perform wudu' and then take a ghusl, or take a ghusl and then perform wudu'.
