Does the full ritual bath suffice in place of the ablution?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The question is: Does the full ritual bath suffice in place of the ablution, or is it better to perform the ablution separately?

The Shaykh : The full ritual bath suffices in place of the ablution, based on the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And if you are in a state of janabah, then purify yourselves وَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ جُنُباً فَاطَّهَّرُوا
[Al-Ma'idah 5:6]
and the ablution is not mentioned. However, it is better to perform the ablution first, then wash the head three times until it is thoroughly wet, and then wash the rest of the body. This is the better course. If one performs the full ritual bath all at once without a specific order, there is nothing wrong with it, but it is obligatory to rinse the mouth and sniff water into the nose.
