The obligation of the follower who is not given the opportunity by his imam to complete al-Fatihah
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
If the imam says the takbir for bowing and a person has not completed al-Fatihah, should he complete it even if that results in him not following the bowing?
If it is known that the imam does not pause in his prayer and does not stand in a position that allows the follower to complete al-Fatihah, then it is obligatory not to pray with him at all; because it is not permissible to pray with him,Because you are between two things: Either you follow him and leave the pillar, or you perform the pillar and miss the following. And we warn these imams from such a matter. The scholars (may Allah have mercy on them) have mentioned that it is forbidden for the imam to hasten at a speed that prevents the follower from doing what is obligatory. Pausing is obligatory. So these imams are not valid to be imams for the Muslims. And if they are employed imams, they must be removed from the imamate. And it is obligatory for those responsible for the imams to patrol the mosques, and if they find one in this state who has not fulfilled the duty of the imamate, they should remove him from it;Because this is a bad habit, so I say: If it is the custom of this imam to hasten at this speed where the follower cannot read al-Fatihah, then it is obligatory for the people of the mosque to demand his removal and displacement. And whoever knows that of him should not enter with him at all; he should go to another mosque. But a person may not know about the imam and enters with him, and he bows before she completes it,So we say: Complete al-Fatihah then follow him in the bowing. And if you see that he will remain like this, then part from him even in the middle of the prayer.
