Two congregations are held in the mosque for one prayer, one after the other, in the same mosque

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 20242 )
Q 3: Is it permissible to hold two congregations in the mosque for one prayer, one after the other, in the same mosque ? And peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings.
A 3: It is not permissible to hold a second congregation in the same mosque for one prayer before the first congregation's prayer has ended. If the first congregation
has finished in the mosque, there is no harm in those who come after them and missed the prayer forming a second congregation in this mosque, according to the correct opinion of the scholars. However, it is not permissible for anyone to make that a habit by delaying the prayer out of negligence and laziness, so that they pray in congregation with their like after the first congregation's prayer. If it is known that certain people have made that a habit and it is known from them, their case is referred to the competent authority, and they are taken to task and disciplined for it as the one in authority sees fit; to deter them and their like, and to block the doors of division. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
