The Virtue of the One Who Memorizes the Qur'an

It was mentioned in the hadith that it is said to the reader of the Qur'an: (Read and ascend, for your final rank will be at the last verse you read from the Book of Allah) Does this include the one who memorizes the Qur'an and the one who has not memorized it but reads it constantly?
The hadith (Read and recite clearly as you used to recite clearly) includes reading from memory or from the mushaf, but the reward that is certain is for the one who reads from memory.
