Ruling on Dissecting Insects

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Some general science departments, particularly the Department of Biology, perform dissections of insects for the purpose of learning exploration. However, the method of dissection involves taking the insect and placing it in a jar or bottle under a high degree of cold while it is still alive until it dies, and then they begin the dissection. What is the ruling on this action?
There is nothing wrong with it; because one cannot reach this information except by this means. And Allah Mighty and Majestic says:
It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself to the heaven, [His being above all creation], and made them seven heavensهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ لَكُمْ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعاً ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَسَوَّاهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ
[al-Baqarah:29] Therefore, if a she-camel were to run away, for example, and the people caught up with it and then threw it down, striking it until it fell and died, it would be lawful to eat, even though this is not the known method of slaughter.
